History and sights ...

Explore the streets in the old town of Korčula and find out why the city plan resembles a fish-griffon pattern or visit the 9 medieval churches within the famous city walls. It is said that Marko Polo, the famous traveler and explorer, was also born here. Many scenes of his life have been revived in the museum. The romantic sword dance "Moreška", which today is only performed in Korčula, is definitely worth seeing, just to name a few of the attractions.

The coast of the Island of Korčula is very indented, with numerous bays and coves. Korčula has some of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. No matter which side of the island you visit, you will always find your place under the sun.

Just 50 meters from our house, there is a pebble beach surrounded by the crystal-clear sea.

If you want to enjoy the sand and sun, you can go to nearby Lumbarda, which is surrounded by wide sandy beaches.

If you choose to explore the island, you will often encounter hidden beaches surrounded by fairy-tale natural surroundings.

Gastronomy and wine tasting ...

Korčula and the surrounding towns offer a real gastronomic pleasure. In addition to the homemade food, we suggest a glass of locally cultivated wine "Pošip" or "Grk".

Desserts are a real pleasure, prepared today as in the days of old. Your palate will be grateful after tasting "Hrštula", "Cukarina" and "Klašuna".

The variety of dishes traditionally prepared, local virgin olive oil and top-quality wines are part of the rich cuisine on the Island of Korčula.
